| Tom dominates junior mens April Regatta. |

The junior mens section racing was dominated again by Tom Hide (Addlestone) , who racked up 2 more wins over this longer distance to make it 4 from 4 starts. Like Brabants, he dominated the race, taking the lead from Ed Rutherford (Elmbridge) by 100m. by 500m he drew out to a boat length and held that to the line.
Dean Terry (Wey) had a promising race, taking 3rd position and showing that he is now closing the gap on the faster junior mens kayaks. |

As athletes of great potential, Hide, Rutherford and Terry will now head off to Hungary for a 10 day training camp with other racing athletes. The campaign for Junior European medals has begun in earnest.
